The Iowa DNR is now accepting electronic air compliance reporting with the Air Quality Records and Reporting (AQRR) Compliance Reporting system. AQRR is a web-based application which allows industry to electronically sign and submit compliance reports to the DNR while utilizing your current forms in PDF format.

  • Forms submitted in AQRR do not require a wet ink signature. AQRR eliminates the requirement to have a wet ink signature by utilizing an EPA approved electronic certification and signature.
  • A single submission in AQRR Compliance Reporting will satisfy the requirement to mail separate reports to the Air Quality Bureau and the DNR Field Office.

Which type of compliance reports does AQRR accept?

Facilities can currently use AQRR to electronically sign and submit the following compliance reports:

  • National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutant (NESHAP) reports, including annual, semi-annual, and quarterly reports required under 40 CFR 63 Subparts, (ex: 4Z β€œRICE”, 6X, MON).
  • New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) reports, including annual, semi-annual, and quarterly reports required under 40 CFR 60 Subparts, (ex: VV/VVa β€œLDAR”, Dc Fuel Oil-Fired Boiler Reports)
  • Continuous Emissions Monitoring/Continuous Opacity Monitoring (CEMS/COMS quarterly reports)
  • Title V Annual Compliance Certifications (TV ACC), and
  • Title V Semi-Annual Monitoring Reports (TV SAMR).

Stack test protocols and reports may not be submitted electronically.

How do I log in to AQRR?

  • Log into AQRR using an existing Environmental Protection Agency Shared CROMERR Services (EPA SCS) username and password or create a new account using AQRR.
    • The AQRR website and user guide will be updated in the near future to remove reference to Central Data Exchange (CDX). During the development of AQRR, EPA changed the CDX login platform from EPA SCS to the platform, login. gov. If you are unable to log into AQRR using an existing EPA SCS username and password please email the AQRR helpdesk AQRR@dnr.iowa.gov for assistance
  • To be authorized to upload or submit compliance reports in AQRR, you must be registered with the facility in SLEIS. Registration forms and instructions are available on the SLEIS website.
