Off-Highway Vehicles in Iowa

Many Iowans enjoy riding Off-Highway Vehicles (OHV) for recreation. Iowa has several designated OHV riding areas, many of which are managed by local clubs, associations or municipal/county governments. The DNR provides law enforcement assistance for these areas.

Riders should familiarize themselves with the laws and follow safety guidelines for off-highway vehicle use in Iowa to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
