About the Park
Emerson Bay’s Lighthouse Point is a focal point on West Lake Okoboji in the Iowa Great Lakes, with spectacular views of the lake from the observation tower. The popular area features a playground, picnic areas, sand beach and a boat ramp. A shelter is conveniently located near the beach and can be reserved online.
Emerson Bay also offers a campground with full-hook ups, 50-amp sites, a modern shower and restroom building, and a dump station.
Advance campsite reservations can be booked through the park reservation system. One fourth of the campsites are available for self-registration on a first-come, first-served basis.
