| Upper Mississippi River levels on Pools 9 -11 are rising slightly this week. All boat ramps have reopened. Water temps are in the mid 80's. A lot of weeds floating but water clarity is good. Fish are seeking cooler water at deeper depths and areas with some current. |
| Water level at Lansing is 8.0 feet and predicted to remain stable next week. Water temperature is 80 degrees. New Albin Army Road, Heytman's Landing and Lansing Village Creek are open. |
| Channel Catfish - Good: Catfish anglers have been catching channel cats this week on crawlers and stink bait. |
| Northern Pike - Good: Fish the shallows along weed beds in backwater lakes. Fish near the mouth of coldwater streams and spring inlets during the heat of summer. |
| Walleye - Fair: Troll crankbaits on three-way rigs along deep side channel borders and wing dams. |
| Yellow Perch - Fair: Jig for perch in the vegetation off edge of cuts in 6-8 feet of water. |
| Bluegill - Excellent: Bluegill are moved off spawning beds into deeper water. Use light tackle on flooded shorelines and weed beds. |
