Iowa’s National Archery in the Schools Program state tournament was held in Des Moines over the weekend.

Iowa DNR will host a public meeting about upcoming timber harvests at the Volga River State Recreation Area, at 5:30 p.m., April 9 at Upper Iowa University.

Volunteers with Iowa’s frog and toad survey have been collecting important information for more than 35 years. They’ll head out again this year on April 1.
