The Iowa Department of Natural Resources has extended the relaxed fishing regulations at Elm and Morse Lakes in Wright County until December 1, 2019.

CLARION – The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will relax the fishing regulations at Elm Lake starting Aug. 1st to allow anglers to more freely harvest fish before the lake is renovated this fall.

CLARION, Iowa - Staff with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will be on hand on July 6, from 3:30-6:30 p.m., at the Wright County Conservation Board shelter on the north end of Lake Cornelia for an informal meeting to talk about the current state of Elm Lake and potential future management plans.
