On May 17, 2016, the Environmental Protection Commission reduced the Title V air emissions fee for calendar year 2015 from $70 per ton to $67.50 per ton. The reduction was made to adjust for a projected 3.8 percent increase in emissions from the March estimate and a 4.5 percent decrease in the program’s costs. As required by 567 Iowa Administrative Code (IAC) 30.4(2), the fee payment, along with one copy of Forms 1.0, 5.0, and a signed Part 3, must be submitted to the Department of Natural Resources - Air Quality Bureau no later than July 1, 2016.

For additional information, instructions, and a list of frequently asked questions regarding the Title V emissions fee payment please check the informational letter that will be sent to all Title V facilities by clicking here or by going to http://www.iowacleanair.gov/ and clicking on Operating Permits, Title V permit Forms and Instructions, Fee Payment, and on the 2015 fee payment reminder letter at the top of the page.
