Minor source facilities located in the western third of Iowa must submit their Minor Source Emission Inventory (MSEI) for calendar year 2017 emissions to the Iowa DNR Air Quality Bureau by May 15, 2018. Only facilities in the following counties are subject to the minor source emissions inventory for 2017: Adair, Adams, Audubon, Buena Vista, Calhoun, Carroll, Cass, Cherokee, Clay, Crawford, Dickinson, Emmet, Fremont, Greene, Guthrie, Harrison, Ida, Lyon, Mills, Monona, Montgomery, O’Brien, Osceola, Page, Palo Alto, Plymouth, Pocahontas, Pottawattamie, Ringgold, Sac, Shelby, Sioux, Taylor, Union, and Woodbury. The Iowa Air Emissions Assistance Program (IAEAP) at the University of Northern Iowa provides free training to companies with less than 100 employees in completing the inventory. Visit IAEAP's website to sign up.
