Join us at the Iowa Strategic Goals Program (ISGP) 1-day workshop on May 11, 2017 where regulators would provide hints and tips to help you better understand what is required of your business! This workshop will provide the opportunity to meet with regulators and industry experts in a small setting where questions are welcome!

In the morning, attendees will hear from representatives of EPA Region 7 about EPA's Enforcement & Compliance History Online (ECHO) and other compliance tools they use.  In the afternoon we'll hear about EPA's Underground Injection Control program - injection wells are used to place fluid underground into porous geologic formations.  Water is also a focus of the afternoon, featured in a two-part series.  Staff from the Des Moines Metropolitan Wastewater Reclamation Authority will provide a local wastewater perspective in which permitting, inspections and sampling of industrial contributors will be discussed, followed by a session with a DNR inspector talking about common National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) violations regarding discharges of wastewater and stormwater that they tend to encounter.

When: May 11, 2017

Where: Courtyard by Marriott

2405 SE Creekview Drive, Ankeny, IA 50021.  Located off of Interstate 35 Exit 90
