The original Twin Ponds were split by the Wapsipinicon River, forming two shallow backwater lakes, about 2 acres and just over 4 acres. Both are susceptible to flooding. There is parking in the southeast corner of the upper pond and plenty of shore to fish. Primitive camping is allowed.
