Fountain Springs

County: Delaware
Location: 2.5 miles northeast of Greeley along Oak Road. Most of the fishery lies within Fountain Springs County Park

Trout streams are in excellent condition. Temperatures are predicted in the mid to upper forties for Christmas week providing for some good insect hatches.

Fountain Springs is stocked with catchable rainbow trout from April -October of each year. There are opportunities to catch wild brown trout and the possibility for brook trout as well. Most of Fountain Springs is in county or state ownership, but portions of upper and lower Fountain Springs are in private ownership and require permission. Most of the county park has good access for fishing and primitive camping is also available.(2025)
