AFTON – The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will host a public meeting from 5:30-7 p.m., June 15, at Three-Mile Lake Lodge, 1577 Creamery Road, to discuss in-lake improvements planned for Three-Mile Lake starting this fall.

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will begin a fish renovation at Three-Mile Lake in Union County on Sep. 20th.  DNR staff will treat the watershed streams on Sept. 20-21 with Prentox® PrenfishTM, a plant-based fish toxicant commonly known as Rotenone to eradicate the current fish population, and the lake on Sept. 22nd.

AFTON - The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will relax fishing regulations at Three-Mile Lake in Union County starting on April 1st, to allow anglers to more freely harvest game fish before the lake is renovated this fall.
