DES MOINES — Seven Iowa companies now have the potential to save more than $1.5 million as a result of working with the Iowa DNR’s Pollution Prevention (P2) Intern Program to bolster profits and meet environmental targets.

DES MOINES – The Iowa DNR has selected 10 organizations to participate in its 2016 Pollution Prevention (P2) Intern Program. Upper-level college and university students work on-site at Iowa companies for 12- or 24-week paid internships to research solutions and implement pollution prevention strategies that will increase efficiency, reduce costs and help meet companies’  environmental goals.
