On October 8, 2015, the Environmental Protection Commission (EPC) approved a Notice of Intended Action for asbestos notification fees and application fees for construction and operating permits. The EPC agenda, draft fee schedule, fiscal impact statement, job impact statement, and the rulemaking available at https://www.iowadnr.gov/Environmental-Protection/Air-Quality/Stakeholder-Involvement.

The Air Quality Bureau is accepting agenda topics for the next Air Quality Client Contact Meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for November 19 at 1:00 p.m., at the DNR’s Air Quality Bureau Office. A conference call option is also available for the meeting.

Opportunity to Comment on Proposed New Air Operating Permit Form

The DNR is proposing to implement a new air quality operating (Title V) permit application form – EZ Mod Form. The new EZ Mod Form is an optional alternative to the standard Title V application forms to request a minor Title V permit modification. To reduce submitting duplicate information, this form incorporates data elements from air construction permit applications and final issued air construction permits.
