DNR Air Quality to Provide a Fact Sheet on Major Source Reclassification Under Section 112 of the Clean Air Act

DNR Online Application System for Air Quality Permits Moves Forward

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has received an appropriation of $954,000 from the Technology Reinvestment Fund (SF 2414, 87th Iowa General Assembly) to implement an electronic air permit application system, e-Application. On June 19, DNR received approval from the Environmental Protection Commission to move forward with the project and enter into a contract with enfoTech & Consulting, Inc., of North Brunswick, New Jersey.

The Iowa DNR Air Quality Bureau (DNR) received one comment on the original Notice of Intended Action, and is accepting additional comments through August 17, 2017.
