Due to high demand for State & Local Emission Inventory System (SLEIS) training, the DNR has developed several training videos that are available on the Air Quality Bureau’s eAirServices webpage.

The DNR has placed the State & Local Emissions Inventory System (SLEIS) into production. SLEIS is the DNR’s new online emissions inventory reporting system. It contains four years of emissions data from SPARS (2011 – 2014), allows for simpler and streamlined reporting, and also offers the option of importing emissions data via a spreadsheet template, significantly reducing data entry for facilities with a large number of emission processes.

The DNR is excited to offer a new online emissions inventory reporting tool called the State & Local Emissions Inventory System (SLEIS). The new web-based system has been pre-populated with four years of emissions data from SPARS (2011 – 2014), allowing for simpler and streamlined reporting.

Title V Facilities' Emissions Reports due March 31, 2016

Facilities subject to Title V of the Clean Air Act must submit their emissions inventories for 2015 to the DNR Air Quality Bureau by March 31, 2016.

New Construction Permit Option and Informational Meeting

The DNR is proposing to create a new air quality construction permit option called a Collection of Air Permits (CAP). The CAP permit will allow multiple emission points and permits to be combined into one document. The CAP permit option was developed based on recommendations from our recent dual LEAN events that included both permit applicants and DNR staff.

The Air Quality Bureau is in its final stages of testing the State & Local Emissions Inventory System (SLEIS). SLEIS is the DNR’s new online system for businesses to submit their air emissions inventory reports. Based on the feedback we receive during November, a decision will be made as to whether to begin electronic reporting in SLEIS next year or wait until 2017.
