MORAVIA – A boil advisory for the city of Moravia in Appanoose County has been lifted. Water samples collected from the system show the water is safe to drink.
The boil advisory was issued after repair work was completed on a water main Wednesday morning. The entire city was without water until the work was completed and, because of the loss of water pressure, it was possible for bacteria to enter the system.
Once the work was complete the city disinfected the water and flushed the system.
