The Title V section of the Air Quality Bureau will be holding two sessions of a training workshop on the Title V permitting process. One session will be geared toward customers that are new to the Title V program and one will be more in depth targeting customers that are familiar with Title V. All customers are welcomed to attend either session.

Training will cover the customer’s responsibilities from the time a facility becomes subject to the Title V reporting requirements through when the permit is issued. These workshops will concentrate on important permitting milestones rather than an in depth review of the forms. Topics will include the new EZ Mod Form (an easy and efficient way to get minor permit changes into a Title V permit), the new Completeness Review Checklist for applicants, form changes to accommodate the new air quality fees and transition to CSAPR, emissions calculations, periodic monitoring, CAM plans and a summary of common application mistakes. We will also review our new e-permitting initiative. Question and answer sessions will be held during the presentations.

The location will be the Air Quality Bureau's office at 7900 Hickman Rd., Suite 1, Windsor Heights, IA. Please use the appropriate link below to make your reservations. Complete the registration form and click the submit button. Class sizes will be limited to 50 people.
