The DNR has developed a fact sheet to provide additional clarification to applicants of when a modification may or may not be necessary to an existing air construction permit. The information presented in the fact sheet titled “Is Modification to My Air Construction Permit Needed?”addresses twenty-two common modification scenarios encountered by industry.
Based on comments and questions received from industry, DNR, and other stakeholders during the fact sheet development, an Equipment Modification FAQ was created. The FAQ utilizes example applications to provide additional clarification to the fact sheet.
