DAVENPORT, Iowa -- The DNR has received numerous reports today of a spill in Crow Creek on the north side of Davenport, causing a red sheen.
The DNR and the City of Davenport determined it to be a non-toxic dye from a nearby property owner. The dye is reportedly non-toxic and should not cause harm; however, the DNR will continue to investigate and determine the possibility of enforcement action.
