Mississippi River Pools 16-19: Tailwater stages have risen since this past weekend but are forecasted to stay fairly steady. Main channel water temperature is around 33 degrees and water clarity is fair. There has been some tailwater fishing but ramp conditions may change. Unsafe ice conditions. Tailwater stage at Lock and Dam 16 at Muscatine has risen to 4.21 feet and forecasted to stay fairly steady. As of Dec 19th, the boat ramp in Muscatine was free of ice and there is a boat dock in the water. There has been some boats out walleye and sauger fishing. Unsafe ice conditions. |
