Your photo capturing the best of Iowa in autumn could be the DNR's next Facebook cover photo – just enter in our fall cover photo contest!

Entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Sept. 20 to photos@dnr.iowa.gov or via Facebook message, wall post or comment on a Sept. 11 Facebook post about the contest. Keep in mind the dimensions of cover photos – horizontal photos work best. Photos of previous autumns are welcome. Photos should focus on how you enjoy Iowa's outdoors and our natural resources. Please limit yourself to no more than 5 entries.

The DNR will select finalists and post those photos to Facebook the evening of Sept. 23. The winning photo, as determined by popular vote on Facebook, will be posted as the DNR's Facebook cover photo on Sept. 24 or soon after.

You can find the DNR on Facebook at www.facebook.com/iowadnr. Entries will also be posted to the We Love Fall in Iowa board on Pinterest and may also be used on Twitter.
