Stone State Park Pond (aka Turtle Pond) has bluegill, largemouth bass and channel catfish. Bluegill and bass populations have a decent size structure. Channel catfish are stocked on a regular basis.(2017)

The vast majority of Iowa’s streams, rivers and lakes offer safe and high-quality fish that pose little or no threat to human health if consumed.
