Park Concessions

Concession operation is available Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend and open each day from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The beach concession may be closed at 4:00 PM after August 10 of each year. Concession services include snack-type food (pop, ice cream, candy, etc.), convenience store items (ice, charcoal, etc.), souvenirs, boat rentals (rowboats, canoes, paddleboats, etc.), bait, firewood, video game rental, TV/VCR/DVD rentals and movie selections for cabin renters, fishing license sales, cabin and beach lodge check-in and check-out, and cabin and beach lodge rentals based on availability.

Usually open in mid-April, weather dependent, closes mid-October; open 7 days a week; during full operation starting Memorial Day weekend open 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday-Thursday, and Friday - Sunday and holidays 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; off-season hours are posted at the building or by calling 515-984-6083. Shelter, bicycle, and boat rentals based on availability. Boat rentals include 30 pontoons, 6 sailboats, 16 fishing boats, 11 canoes, 16 paddle boats, 20 kayaks, 20 stand-up paddle boards, and 4 electric boats. Concession items include snack-type food service and short order food service, convenience store items (ice, etc.), souvenirs, bait (worms, minnows and leeches) and tackle sales, and hunting/fishing license sales. Winter concession operation includes ice fish shack rentals, bait and tackle sales, and food service.

Firewood sales are available May 1 through September 30 from sunrise to sunset each day using a self-serve operation.

Services include boat rentals, kayak/canoe/paddleboard lessons, organized paddling tours, firewood sales, bait sales, convenience store items (ice, charcoal, etc.) and snack-type foods (chips, pop, candy, etc.).

Concession services are available on Saturdays from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM at the concession stand. Items include souvenirs, firewood, pre-packaged snack-type foods, soda and water.

Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, plus Fall Festival in late September; Saturdays, 8:00 - 11:00 PM at the popcorn shed. 

Souvenirs such as t-shirts, key chain flashlights, coolies, glow in the dark items and cup-holders available for sale during movie nights. Questions can be addressed at the Lake Anita State Park Facebook page.

Yard games and firewood sales available through the campground host, typically 5:00 - 8:00 PM.

Concession services are available Saturdays and Sundays, and Memorial Day and Labor Day holidays, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Services include boat rentals (Paddle boats, canoes, stand-up paddle boards, single kayaks, double kayaks), souvenirs, snacks and beverages.

Open Friday before Memorial Day through Labor Day, 7 days a week, noon to 8:00 pm Monday thru Friday and 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Dry storage for approximately 110 sailboats and other non-motorized boats.  Wet-slips for 10 boats. Locker and sail storage. A ramp for launching sailboats and docks for tying-up.  Beach and picnic shelter, recreational facilities for members and the public.

Lake Wapello Beach/Boat House: Concession services are available from noon to 7:00 PM on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Services and items available include boat rental (paddleboats, SUPs, canoes, kayaks, row boats), firewood, snack-type food (ice cream, pop, candy, etc.), bait and tackle sales, convenience store items (paper products, charcoal, ice, etc.), and beach-type toys.

Friends of the Ledges Concession will be available Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July weekend, Christmas in July Event, Labor Day weekend and National Public Lands Day weekend. Items for sale include souvenirs and other memorabilia, pre-packaged snack foods (pop, candy, ice cream, etc.), and convenience store-type items (bug spray, charcoal, sunscreen, etc.).

Open mid-April through late October, Fridays, Saturdays and holidays, 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the campground. Will deliver anytime  if buying 5 or more bundles. 

Open Memorial Day Weekend thru the 3rd Sunday in October from 10:00AM - 4:30PM. Items for sale include Pikes Peak souvenirs (such as t-shirts, hats, pin, magnets, hiking stick medallions, patches, postcards) firewood, snack-tpe food (pre-packaged ice cream, candy chips, etc.), beverages (water, soda, coffee, hot chocolate), convenience store items (charcoal, ice. etc.) and camping supplies (batteries, ponchos, etc.)

From May 1 through October 15, firewood sales are available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, Sundays and all major holidays.
